Second Call for papers (Submission Deadline has been extended) – Track of the Norwegian Operations Research Society at LOGMS 2017

Dear colleague,

We have extended the deadline to submit an abstract to the track of the Norwegian Operations Research Society (NORS) at LOGMS 2017, 23-26 August 2017, in Bergen, Norway.

While LOGMS 2017 is a conference dedicated to logistics and maritime systems, the track of NORS is open for all topics within operations research.

Abstracts submitted to the NORS track are evaluated separately from contributions submitted to the main LOGMS 2017 conference. Please submit an abstract of up to 500 words, using the following link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=logms2017

When submitting, please check the box corresponding to NORS track.

Important dates

28 February 2017: Deadline abstract submission

31 March 2017: Notification of acceptance/rejection

30 June 2017:    Speaker registration deadline

Conference starts: 23 August 2017 at 18:00

Conference ends: 26 August 2017 at 17:00

The NORS track is co-organized with LOGMS 2017, and participants in the NORS track will have to register as participants of LOGMS 2017. The registration fee covers both LOGMS and the NORS track. This will give access to all activities of the scientific and social programme, including a visit to Mongstadbase (which serves as base for 25 to 30 supply vessels from Statoil’s Supply Logistics Division and is by far the largest Statoil base for supply logistics in the North Sea).

A EURO plenary, sponsored by The Association of European Operational Research Societies, will be delivered by Professor Stefan Voss, The University of Hamburg.
